Recent vehicle interference

Good Morning Resident,

We have received several reports of persons going round trying car door handles in the early hours around the Birchhall area ,unfortunately on this occasion they have gained entry to 2 of the vehicles and have taken a small amount of money from one and nothing from the other .

Please ensure that when leaving your vehicle that the doors are locked and nothing of value is visible within the car .Please try to get into the habit of checking the car door physically and not to be reliant on a key fob doing the job, as these can fail on occasions ,also if your vehicle is one that uses a stop start fob and you don't have to insert the key to start ,please consider investing in a ‘Faraday ’type pouch that blocks any signals that normally transmit to open the doors of the vehicle (these can be purchased online for around £5 upwards ).
